The 50th Birthday Trip
Lake Gaston, NC
The 7th and final stop we are meeting friends. We will be staying at the Stonehouse Timber Lodge in a well equipped cabin.
Stick Marsh, FL
The 6th stop on the trip is at Stick Marsh/Farm 13, FL. It is ranked 16 in the country and the home of giants. We are staying at a friend’s house that he also rents on VRBO.
Lake Istokpoga, FL
The number 5 stop on the trip is also the 14th ranked lake in the country. We will be staying at the Trails End Fishing Resort in a cabin with a boat dock.
Lake Seminole, GA
We are heading to Lake Seminole for the 4th stop on this trip. It is the #5 rated lake in the country and a storied fishery. We will be staying at the Trails End Resort and Marina.
Lake Jordan, AL
The third stop on the trip is the 22nd rated lake in the country and one that the Alabama fisheries folks ranked higher than Guntersville. We are staying in an AirBnB waterfront cottage with private dock.
Lake Guntersville, AL
The next stop is Lake Guntersville, AL. It is # 2 on the list of the 100 best bass lakes in the country and the location of the 2020 Bassmaster Classic. We are staying at D&E Landing in a waterfront cabin with a boat house.
Lake Chickamauga, TN
The first stop is the #6 rated lake in the country by Bassmaster Magazine in 2019. We found a house on the lake with a dock and boat lift on AirBnB.
